Process work ‘Pedes in sidera’

TIEMPO COMPARTIDO. Si nos centramos en la definición de ‘tiempo compartido’ descubrimos que se trata de tener en posesión una propiedad compartida con otras personas y aquí es donde lo poético y lo político (entendido como lo público y comunitario) se transforman en un proyecto artístico, se juntan y se redefinen como concepto sobre el cual trabajar y sobre estrategias estéticas para lograr resultados objetuales, eso que llamamos ‘obra’ (de arte). Pensada desde un principio como una serie de postales que combinen fotografía y dibujo, también propone un espacio en blanco como invitación a ‘los otros’ a intervenir sobre ellas, a poseer el espacio en un ‘tiempo compartido’. La ‘obra’ trasciende su propio significado al pasar de la concepción individual a la colectiva. ACCIÓN-REACCIÓN. La acción consta de entregar a diferentes personas dos postales (una mitad una fotografía, la otra un dibujo para rellenar), de la que tendrán que devolverme una intervenida (pintada. dibujada, etc.) por ellas mismas. La postal pasa a formar parte de un proyecto mayor, una multipropiedad, que comenzará a recorrer un camino poco predecible, aunque con toda la intención de ser expuesto.

TIMESHARE. If we focus on the definition of timeshare we discover that it is having in possession a property shared with other people. In that definition is where the poetic and political (understood as public and community) becomes into an artistic project, gather and redefined as a concept on which the aesthetic strategies results in a object, an art object. Designed from the beginning as a series of postcards that combine photography and drawing, also proposes a blank invitation to others to speak about them, to own a space in other kind of timeshare. The work transcends its own meaning to change from the individual to the collective. ACTION-REACTION. The action consists of delivering two postcards to different people (a half a picture, the other half a drawing to fill), that they will have to return, only one of them, intervened (painting, drawn, collage, etc.) by themselves. Postcard becomes part of one larger project, which will begin to go a little unpredictable, but with all intention of being exhibit in the way.
